On Friday, November 5, 2021 our mixed Lion Ultimate team competed at state. They have been working hard all season, beating Arapahoe and Lakewood in their last two games. Their hard work paid off since the team placed 6th at state.
The team worked hard and practiced multiple times a week, even with weather difficulties. The team focused on having fun while still putting in the work to win. The team finished their season 3-3, demonstrating the team’s hard work for the season.
“I really enjoy getting to play with my teammates all season,” said freshman Anabel Amine.
Head coach Mary Rosenberg has been dedicated to helping the team reach its full potential, trying to have a balance between fun and hard work.
Ultimate will return to LHS in the spring with a girls team and boys team. Make sure to keep on the lookout for when to sign up if you’re interested in joining this fun club!
