The girl’s swim team recently competed in the state swim meet on both Thursday and Friday. In the end, everyone had improved in some way that they wanted to, and several goals or personal records were met or beaten.
“I am really proud of how I swam. Though, I feel like looking back, everyone always feels like they could have done more,” said senior Grace Amine.
“However, this season was a hard three months for everyone. I think we all overcame a lot to perform as we did,” said Amine.
Senior Gwen Fitzsimmons mentioned, “I think our team improved a lot this year! Everyone dropped time at the end of the season. I also think we had great team spirit and everyone was super supportive,”
Overall, the girl’s team had performed well at the state swim meet, with several great placings in the state overall. Everyone is looking forward to next season and is eager to practice and improve.
