Meet your Student Council Freshman Officers

Congratulations to Maddie Kusner, Meher Sandhu, and Reagan O’Connor for becoming the Freshman Class President, Vice President, and Public Relations Officer respectively.

You may have noticed posters around the hallways for student council positions as students campaigned for the freshmen election. Candidates for each position presented their speeches in the forum to the Freshman class during Seminar.

Maddie Kusner, the new Freshman Class President, decided to join student council for a variety of reasons.

“I was interested in getting to know my class better and making new friends, and I also strongly believe in fairly representing my class. I wanted to be a figure that others can trust and come to for anything.”

Kusner is excited to start the school year as Freshman Class President.

“This year, I’m excited to participate in event planning and just giving Littleton students a good time. I’m a huge planner and I love seeing my ideas come to fruition.”

Kusner has had leadership experience in the past as a 3 year National Junior Honors Society member, and she plans on continuing her leadership experience in Student Council.

Kusner has many aspirations for this year, which they plan on achieving through their involvement on the Student Council Executive Board.

“I really hope to make sure the graduating class this year has their best year ever and give the freshmen and 8th graders a perfect first year.”

Freshman Vice President, Meher Sandhu, is excited to become involved in Student Council. Sandhu explains why they joined this club.

“I decided to join Student Council to make and create more positive experiences for not only the freshmen, but also for the rest of the student body.”

Sandhu cannot wait for this school year and they are looking forward to many High School events.

“This year I am looking forward to making new friends and meeting new people. I am also looking forward to checking out new clubs and activities!”

Reagan O’Connor is the Freshman Class Public Relations Officer and is looking forward to her involvement in Student Council. O’Connor explains her goals for this school year.

“I want to connect the Freshman class more and raise the school spirit”.

O’Connor discusses her reason for running for Class PR.

“I wanted to be a part of something I haven’t done before”.

This year marks O’Connor’s first year in Student Council, and she is excited to start the school year.

“I am most excited to meet all the new people and make connections”.

These Freshman officers along with Freshman in General Council have had a busy week planning homecoming, and they are looking forward to organizing more school events, pep rallies, spirit weeks, and fundraisers throughout the school year.
