Spooky Season at LHS

The halls of LHS have been filled with the spooky spirit, as students participate in the spirit week leading up to Halloween. The week included all sorts of interesting activities and fun outfits.

Pumpkin Spice Monday had students dressing in fall colors, such as orange, red, and brown. Ghouls Glow Tuesday was neon day, and Wednesday was Wednesday Addams day, which included students dressing in black and white like the famous character. Color Wars on Thursday assigned different roles to each grade, with freshmen and early high schoolers as zombies (green), sophomores as bats (black), juniors as ghosts (white), seniors as purple people eaters (purple), and teachers as jack-o-lanterns (orange). And finally, on Friday, everyone showed off their amazing Halloween costumes!

The costumes that walked the halls ranged from animals to horror movie characters and everything in between. Costumes always make school a little more fun, and give everyone a chance to show off their creativity. The turnout from students and staff was amazing, and we hope to see the same next year!

Until next October, here’s to a Halloween well spent!
