Team Zesty emerges victorious in Homecoming Boys Volleyball Tournament

Roaring crowds, heated matchups, and a myriad of close calls were all present during the boys’ volleyball tournament on Thursday the 6th. There were 5 teams competing but ultimately, team Zesty won the day. Team Dub came in 2nd, Slay in 3rd, and the Revis and Top Gs in 4th and 5th respectively.

The final game of the tournament against Zesty and Dub was an intense matchup and the game got heated at times. However, Zesty left the court victorious with a final score of 22-19.

There was a fair turnout to the game however, those who attended were active observers and cheered the teams on. Homecoming week has been filled with school spirit and excitement in the student body and the volleyball tournament was no different.

Despite the teams getting into the spirit of competition, at the end of the day, there was no bad blood between the competitors. Though the competition was fierce, the sense of school spirit and unity is fiercer.
