What is the best variety of Girl Scout Cookies?

We are now entering a beloved time of year for many: Girl Scout Cookie season. Everybody seemingly has a favorite cookie, along with strong opinions on many of the other cookies. Three Lions Roar Now staff members and I decided to taste-test Girl Scout cookies and give our thoughts.

Adventurefuls 

Brownie-inspired cookie with a caramel-flavored creme center and a hint of sea salt.

Our overall rating: 6.25/10

“Tastes like chocolate cereal,” said Olivia Fendrich.

Smores

Graham sandwich cookie with marshmallow and chocolate filling.

Our overall rating: 4.25/10

“If you didn’t tell me it was a s’more, I wouldn’t know,” said Max Fendrich.

Thin Mints

Chocolate cookie with a mint chocolate coating.

Our overall rating: 9/10

“It’s mid,” said Ian Flanagan (note: Ian was not technically in this taste testing so you can take this opinion lightly.)

Samoas

Cookie with caramel, chocolate, and coconut stripes.

Our overall rating: 7.5/10

“Different than when I was a kid,” said Max Fendrich.

Tagalongs

Cookie with peanut butter layering and chocolate coating.

Our overall rating: 5.5/10

“I didn’t like it, not one bit,” said Anna Staiert (me!).
