Mr. Szczukowski joins the Littleton Staff

As of this year, Mr. Bryon Szczukowski has begun working here at Littleton.  He has worked in the district for 25 years, and was at an elementary school for the last few of them. Szczukowski is excited to show kids the wonders of physical education and how it can help them.  So far he has enjoyed the classes he has been teaching.

“I’ve taught health, swimming, and team sports.” he says.

Outside of school, Szczukowski spends his time playing various sports.

“[I] Took up golfing recently, I’m a skier, play a lot of softball.”

At the end of the day, Szczukowski wants for everyone to have the opportunity to learn different sports.

“I play a lot of different sports and know how to teach almost all of them.  I have two boys, and so I’ve taught and coached them.  A lot of kids don’t have that same access to somebody who can teach you different sports, so yeah.  It’s really nice to be able to share that stuff with everybody.”

Szczukowski really just wants to teach and get to know the kids he is teaching.

“I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the student population here and it’s just nice getting to know kids.  I think I know about one-hundred and twenty now out of my classes and that’s about an 8th or a 10th of the school.  So next semester I’ll learn another chunk, so eventually, after a year or two, I’ll know almost everybody in the building.  So, I’m looking forward to that.”
